Opportunity description

Do you want to join a high ranking university but your current high school results are not eligible or your English language skills need to improve?

Trinity College Dublin invites students who have finished high school to apply for the International Foundation Programs (IFP) which will enable them to practice their English language skills with native speakers. The program starts in September 2018 and is 30 weeks long. Students may choose either Pathway A which includes Law, Business, Economics and Social Sciences, or Pathway B which includes Engineering and Science.

Eligibility criteria includes:

[1] Applicants’ least highest qualification must be a high school diploma

[2] Applicants must be proficient in English with 5.0 overall in IELTS (5.0 in writing with no element below 4.5) or 64 with 16 in writing in TOEFL

[3] Applicants who want to apply for Law and Psychology must have gained 6.0 with no subscore below 5.5 in IELTS and 72 with 20 in writing in TOEFL

Successful applicants will get a tuition waiver up to €5,000. They will also be guaranteed a spot in a bachelor’s program of their choice if they successfully complete the program.
