University of Westminster is offering postgraduate scholarships for international students from developing countries commencing in the academic year 2019-2020. This scholarship is awarded jointly with International Students House (ISH). ISH was founded for the betterment of international understanding and provides a unique social, cultural and recreational centre for international and British students alike. Tony Shaw is commemorated as one of the founders of ISH.

Amount of Scholarship
Full tuition fee award, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.
Paying the £4,000 deposit as an international scholarship applicant:
The University’s deposits scheme for international students means that if you hold an unconditional offer you will be required to make a payment of £4,000 before you are given a student visa support letter, which may be used to apply for your visa for entry to the UK.

As a scholarship applicant, you can wait until you know the outcome of your scholarship application before paying this deposit. It is recommended that you check with the UK Visas and Immigration on how long it takes to process visas during the June to August period. If you are awarded a full scholarship or a full fee scholarship you will not be required to pay this deposit and your admissions office will be notified of this. If you are awarded a half fee or part fee scholarship, you will be required to pay the £4,000 deposit.

Eligibility
- You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters in a subject within the Westminster Business School at the University.
- For scholarship purposes, the term ‘developing’ includes middle income countries. The following is a list of countries considered to be 'developed'. If your country is not on the list then you are eligible to apply: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Vatican City.
- Applicants are required to have an equivalent to a UK First Class Honours degree, financial need and development potential.
