<p>The Government of Australia offers Palestinian students fully funded MA <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">scholarships </a>for the academic year 2019-2020. The scholarships are long-term awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. They aim to contribute to the development needs of Australia&#39;s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements. The study and research opportunities provided by <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Australia" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Australia </a>Awards Scholarships develop the skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to development in their own countries.</p><h3><strong>Priority fields of study:</strong></h3><p>The priority areas of study for the Palestinian Territories are:</p><ol><li>Public policy</li><li>Public financial management</li><li>Agriculture</li><li>Water resources management</li></ol><h3><strong>Funding:</strong></h3><p><strong>Scholarship recipients will receive the following:</strong></p><ol><li>return air travel</li><li>a one-off establishment allowance on arrival&nbsp;</li><li>full tuition fees</li><li>contribution to living expenses</li><li>introductory Academic Program</li><li>overseas Student Health cover for the duration of the scholarship</li><li>supplementary academic support</li><li>fieldwork allowance for research students and masters by coursework which has a compulsory fieldwork component.</li></ol><h3><strong>Eligibility criteria:</strong></h3><ol><li>be a minimum of 18 years of age on 1 February of the year of commencing the scholarship</li><li>be a citizen of a participating country and be residing in and applying for the scholarship from their country of citizenship</li><li>not be a citizen of Australia, hold permanent residency in Australia or be applying for a visa to live in Australia permanently</li><li>Not be applying for a scholarship for a course of study at an academic level lesser than they have already achieved</li><li>Commitment to return to their country after completion of the program</li></ol><h3><strong>English language requirements:</strong></h3><ol><li>an Academic IELTS result with an overall score of at least 6.5, with no band less than 6.0, or</li><li>an internet-based TOEFL score of at least 79, with a minimum of 19 in all subtests, or</li><li>PTE Academic overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50.</li></ol><p>See also the <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Phd scholarships</a>&nbsp;on For9a.</p>
