Funded Peace Summit for Young Professionals in South Africa 2019

The World Peace Summit organized by the World Peace Foundation is a platform for young peacebuilders around the world to share their ideas on the #PeaceByDialogue concept. This opportunity for young people with the competence, enthusiasm and Peacebuilders from more than 50 countries can provide their insights and get a concrete roadmap for sustainable development through support. The summit will be held in April 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Conference Themes:

1. Peace Education: Promoting peaceful thoughts which states that terrorism and violence have nothing to do with any caste, color, creed, ethnicity, region, and religion.
2. Global Citizenship: Promoting youth voice on peace and social justice issues like human rights, terrorism, fifth generation war and conflicts.
3. Signatory Campaign: Amplify the voice of youth on Peace & Social Justice (1 million voices).
4. Youth Development: Providing youth a platform to excel their leadership traits.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Youth aged 16-35 (open to all nationalities).
2. Passionate to achieve the United Nations goals for sustainable development.
3. Open, motivated and passionate.
4. Students and young professionals are encouraged to apply.
