CIMMYT is seeking a world of early education to join the Genetic Resources and Statistics team of the Genetic Resources Program. This is a great opportunity to get a postdoctoral degree, where a fellow graduate to work with multidisciplinary teams to conduct applied research for poor farmers resources around the world. The candidate&#39;s experience in experimental design and data analysis can contribute to the development of genome and remote sensing techniques and other &quot;large data&quot; in effective decision support tools for scientists in this field. He will be a member of the Biostatistics and Statistics Unit (BSU), contributing to global capacity development activities and the development of research methods and publications.The position will be based at CIMMYT&rsquo;s headquarters in Texcoco, Mexico.&nbsp;See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD">Phd scholarships</a> on For9a<h3>Duties of the Candidate:</h3><ol><li>Collaborate with CIMMYT and the two partner scientists to develop and implement research in applied statistical methodology to enhance the efficiency of CIMMYT or agricultural research for partners.</li><li>Maintain expertise in science and application of statistical methodologies in plant breeding, especially experimental design, multi-environment experiments analysis, GWAS and genomic selection (GS).</li><li>Provide statistical advice to CIMMYT world and partners.
