Southern Cross University in <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Australia">Australia</a> is offering international students the opportunity to apply for a Vice Chancellor&rsquo;s Academic Excellence&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships">Scholarship</a>. This scholarship is for academically outstanding future international students in all fields of study. The key criteria for students are to exceed the academic and English entry requirements for the program and present themselves as an outstanding academic candidate.<h3>Scholarship Amount:</h3>The Vice Chancellor&rsquo;s Academic Excellence Scholarship provides students with a $5,000 fee reduction on the second session tuition fees (a one-off reduction), after successful completion of their first study session at Southern Cross University.&nbsp;<h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3>Students wishing to apply for the Vice Chancellor&rsquo;s Academic Excellence Scholarship are required to satisfy the following criteria:<ul><li>Apply to study a full-time (8 units per year) <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">undergraduate</a> or <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">postgraduate</a> coursework degree at either the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.&nbsp;</li><li>Exceed the minimum admission entry requirements of the University. Assessment of academic excellence will be undertaken by a panel.&nbsp;</li></ul>Undergraduate entry:&nbsp;<ol><li>A qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 and the required entry grade for the program for which they have applied; and&nbsp;</li><li>English language is comparable to Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5.</li></ol>Postgraduate entry:&nbsp;<ol><li>A qualification equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree; and&nbsp;</li><li>English language comparable to Academic IELTS 6.5.&nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li>Students must successfully complete all units in their first session, by obtaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.&nbsp;</li><li>Citizens or permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand are not eligible</li></ul><h3>Selection Criteria:</h3><ul><li>The applicant is an international onshore student wanting to study at the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.</li><li>The student is not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand.</li><li>The student must receive an offer to a full undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.</li><li>Applicants must meet the academic entry requirements and be able to demonstrate high academic achievement for the relevant degree.&nbsp;</li><li>Students must successfully complete all units in their first session, by obtaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.</li></ul>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Internships">internships</a> on For9aSee more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Germany">opportunities in Germany&nbsp;</a>on For9a
