Opportunity description
The East-West: The Art of Dialogue initiative organises an annual exchange program, the Gabr Fellowship, for young emerging leaders from the East and the West to join forces in developing and implementing projects that address critical issues in their countries. The Egypt program will take place from September 21st-30th 2017; the U.S. program from October 21st-28th, 2017.
In addition to the cultural exchange, a key element of the East-West: The Art of Dialogue initiative, are the action projects fellows will work on in collaborative teams comprising of both Egyptian/Arab and foreign delegates.
The project aims to confront common challenges facing both Eastern and Western societies alike and to serve as a tool to broaden the impact that the Gabr Fellowship has on the Fellows' peers, communities and societies. The Gabr Fellowship's goal is building long-term and sustainable connections across the East and West.
