Opportunity description
Erasmus Mundus is offering Global Markets, Local Creativities Master scholarship. It is an International Masters degree taught over 2 years by a consortium of 7 universities, through a mix of lectures and seminars. You will take between eight and ten core and around eight optional courses, depending on which pathway you choose, and you will study at 3 of the internationally-renowned GLOCAL partner universities. The programme also includes opportunities for internships and industrial placements.

Eligibility criteria
- For International Students: You can check your country-specific GPA requirements here.
- They accept applications from a variety of backgrounds within the social sciences, business majors, humanities and languages;
- however, a strong background in history, economics, political science, development studies, or business is preferred.
- Other majors will be considered if the applicant also has courses, experience or some background in these fields.
- If you don’t meet the GPA requirements listed, you will not be accepted on the programme.
- For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level.
- (IELTS) Academic module overall score 6.5
- ibTOEFL: 90 overall with a minimum of 20 for reading, 19 for listening, 19 for speaking and 23 for writing
- CAE (Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English): 176 overall; no sub-test less than 169
- CPE (Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English): 176 overall; no sub-test less than 169
- PTE Academic (Person Test of English, Academic test): 60; no sub-test less than 59
Required Documents:
All applications must have the following:
- Degree certificate (and an official translation into English)
- Official academic transcript(s) (and an official translation into English), showing full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained
- Two supporting reference letters on headed paper.
- References should be dated within the last 12 months, written on official letter headed paper and include the referees signature or official stamp.
- Unofficial references will not be accepted.
- If your referee prefers their reference to remain confidential, they can email the reference to
- pgadmissions@glasgow.ac.uk provided the email is from your referee’s professional email account and contains their full employee name and address.
- They will not accept references sent from personal email addresses or via a third party.
