What is HG Wells Short Story Competition?
The HG Wells Short Story Competition is a non-profit making organization founded by Reg Turnill who was passionate about promoting writing, and on his death in 2013 left a legacy to fund the Junior prize. The competition remains based in Folkestone, with the annual award ceremony at the Grand, which is a building that Wells himself would have known and used.
