Health Care Project Grants Based in Africa

THET is offering grants to support projects that aim to improve healthcare in Africa.  The projects should be in one of the following fields:

[1] Stream 1: Surgical and Anaesthetic Care - This stream will focus on reducing morbidity from conditions requiring surgical intervention and/or enhancing patient safety through improved anaesthetic care and health worker training.  The aim of this stream is to improve the access to, and availability of, quality surgery and/or anaesthetic care (particularly for maternal, neonatal or pediatric surgical conditions).

[2] Stream 2: Community Healthcare - This stream will focus on increasing the availability and quality of essential healthcare (including attended births) and health information to undeserved populations, including women and children. There will be a focus on training those who work and serve in the community.
