Opportunity description

The International AIDS Society (IAS) and the Global Advocacy for HIV Prevention are organizing an Advocacy-for-Cure Academy in Uganda on May 28-30, 2018. The Advocacy-for-Cure Academy Fellowship program will give the chance to 20-25 talented advocates who are working in the HIV field in resource-limited settings to be enrolled in a three-day training and development course on HIV cure advocacy.

The fellowship program aims to develop research literacy in HIV cure and improve fellows’ advocacy and engagement skills through workshops, sessions and networking opportunities with leaders in the field. Selected fellows will be awarded enrollment in the Advocacy-for-Cure Academy and have their travel costs, accommodation and meals, ground transportation costs and course materials are all covered by the academy.
