Opportunity description
The Museum of Typography in Greece has the pleasure to announce the 4th International Poster Contest about Typography and Printing for 2018, as the museum is dedicated to both arts. The aim of the contest is to connect the present and the future of graphic arts to typology, printing and their history. Participants may be professionals and students of graphic and visual arts, as well as amateurs who can translate their ideas into posters.
The dimensions of the poster must be 50x70 cm, in PDF and CMYK color model, at 200 pixels per inch, and must not exceed 25MB (if it does, it should be sent by WeTransfer or any other similar service). The results will be announced during the inauguration of the exhibition that will take place in the amphitheater of the museum on June 23, 2018.
The first place winner will receive €1,000, the second place winner will receive €700, and the third place winner will receive €500. The 30 selected posters will be presented at the exhibition for a year until the next contest, and will receive honorary distinctions.
