Are you a Jordanian and fluent in French? Are you involved in grassroots work at the local level?
The LabCitoyen program invites applicants of Jordanian nationality aged between 20 and 26 years, holders of B1 level in French who can travel during the conference to participate in a series of conferences to be held in Paris, France from July 1-9, 2018. The theme of this year's conference will be "Education and Human Rights". It invites about 50 young people who are interested in French culture and language. The conference will discuss several major issues using French as a tool for discussion and action. Among the topics to be discussed in the conference is the following:
[1] Education and development: literacy, reducing inequality, empowering women, and promoting social cohesion.
[2] Education and health.
[3] Human rights: combating racism, gender equality, citizenship, and children's rights.
[4] Education and access to employment: education and vocational training, International Organization of la Francophonie, and adult education.
[5] Strengthening educational systems: national policies and strategies and innovative approaches to funding education.
