The University of Liverpool is offering graduate students the opportunity to apply for the Hodgson Law Scholarship, which has been made possible through the benefaction of Elizabeth Hodgson, widow of the Liverpool Solicitor Joseph Hodgson, who expressed a wish to advance the education and training of lawyers. The scholarship is open to all non UK/non EU applicants intending to pursue a postgraduate degree in law. Applicants must have completed or be in the final year of completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree at a minimum 2.1 (UK Upper Second) or equivalent standard and have an excellent standard of English. They must also have an evidence of legal and public service that may benefit the community of Liverpool, and ambition for future leadership.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for a full-time taught degree and a stipend of £9,135.
