Opportunity description

Leiden University in the Netherlands invites nationals of developing countries to apply for the Master of Laws Advanced Studies program in International Children’s Rights. 

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Be a national of a country with medium to low ranking 
  2. Lack the financial means to follow the study program without the assistance of a scholarship
  3. Be highly motivated to follow the Master of Laws Advanced Studies program in International Children’s Rights
  4. Applicants from single-parent families and families depending on social assistance schemes are given priority
  5. After graduation, the applicant must return to his or her home country and bring into practice the knowledge obtained during the program, in order to improve the implementation of international children’s rights in their home country

You can’t be awarded a scholarship if:

  1. You have already obtained another scholarship
  2. You will follow a study program other than the Master of Laws Advanced Studies program in International Children’s Rights at Leiden University

Scholarship amount:

The scholarship amounts to €15,000 which forms a contribution towards the program tuition fee of €17,500. The duration of the scholarship is one year.
