King’s College London invites international students to apply for the Dr. Antony Kidman Scholarship in Health Psychology which will be awarded to one student each year undertaking a Master’s degree in Health Psychology. It will be given to exceptional students in financial hardship to support them with their studies at the college.
Applicants must:
[1] Be undertaking the full-time MSc Health Psychology at King’s, 2018 entry
[2] Have firmly accepted an offer of a place in study from September 2018
[3] Have provided a written statement
[4] Have a home/EU/international fee status with a household income of £50,000 or less
[5] Be willing to provide an end of year report and a letter of thanks to the donor
Funding:
The scholarship will be worth £10,000, available as either a cash bursary or a contribution towards tuition fees.

About Dr. Antony Kidman
Dr. Antony Kidman was an Australian psychologist, biochemist and writer who established the Health Psychology Unit at the University of Technology in 1985 and was the director until his death. His academic achievements include 154 journal articles and nine books as well as regular presentations at conferences internationally. The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s is Europe’s largest center for research and post-graduate education in psychiatry, psychology and basic and clinical neuroscience, having surpassed Harvard in research rankings. Dr Kidman’s contribution to the field of Health Psychology was significant and the scholarship in the Department of Health Psychology at King’s College London will not only support this important work, but create a legacy to honor the work of Dr Kidman.
