Opportunity description

The University of Turin, Italy, welcomes applications from international students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in any of the programs available at the university. The scholarship program funds 15 two-year scholarships to international students willing to enroll in the first year of their master’s degree. Scholarships are valued at 9,000 euros per year, gross of all charges for the beneficiary’s account, covering tuition fees only.

Applications will be evaluated on the basis of the GRE (Revised General Test) test results. Different weightings can be given to the different sections of the tests according to the subject area of the candidates’ chosen degree program. A minimum score is not required.

The eligibility:

[1] Applicants must hold valid qualifications giving access to the chosen master’s degree program by November 15th 2018, provided by an institution outside of the Italian education system
[2] Applicants must be 29 years old or younger and not an Italian Citizen
[3] Applicants must hold a GRE certificate which must have been sat not earlier than 5 years before the deadline of this call
[4] Applicants have never been enrolled in any program at the University of Turin
[5] Students transferring from another university are not eligible

About the GRE (Revised General Test):

A standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools owned and administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS). The GRE aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills that have been acquired over a long period of learning.
