Opportunity description
The University of Essex is offering international student from an African nation and who are self-funding their postgraduate studies, a scholarship paid as a discount on their tuition fee. The scholarship is available for students on postgraduate taught Masters courses. Awards will be made on the basis of grades obtained in their first degree.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must fulfill the following requirements:
[1] You are a national of an African nation
[2] Have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university from an African country or from any of the following countries: Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Norway, Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam with a GPA of 2:1 or above.
[3] Be entirely self-funding your studies, and applying for a full-time Masters course starting in 2018-19, in exclusion of MBA courses.
[4] This scholarship is available for the first year of Masters study only
Successful applicants will receive a partial scholarship that is worth £4,000, and its paid as a discount on their tuition fee. These scholarships will only be made available as a reduction in the tuition fee that is payable on registration at the University.
