Opportunity description
The GroundTruth Project, in partnership with the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation, invites freelance journalists who want to report stories in the Middle East to apply for its fellowship program. This program will support journalists who want to report on stories in the Middle East that are under-covered by mainstream media. The selected fellows will receive a grant of $10,000 USD for field reporting, preferably in the first quarter of 2018. Finalists will be asked to submit a proposed project budget that must include appropriate safety training, insurance, and travel costs.
