Opportunity description
Namaa Youth Volunteer Award – a Bahraini initiative in cooperation with the Higher Council for Youth & Sports in Palestine – invites young Palestinians aged 21-35 years to participate in a competition for projects in the fields of Education and Human Development. The volunteer team applying must have concrete activities for at least the last 2 years and must be independent of any official institutions. The project must be for developmental or educational purposes that will benefit the public, take place in Palestine, and must not be an investment or a construction project. The aim of the initiative is to encourage young Palestinian volunteer teams and utilize their potential, in addition to giving them an official platform to express their ideas, to spread the culture of work and highlight its value as a national human duty.
$5,000 will be awarded to the best project in Education, and $5,000 will be awarded to the best project in Human Development. The amount of the prize will be divided into two installments, and the receipt of the remaining payment will be given after providing evidence indicating how the project is going.
