Opportunity description
Seoul National University (SNU) offers, in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs (OIA), an exchange opportunity for students from around the world to study for a period of 4 to 10 months. The purpose of this exchange program is to provide meaningful experiences for exchange students regarding Korean culture and education; to strengthen the global competence of Korean universities.

Requirements for application
- Must be enrolled in at least second semester at home university program (=have completed at least one semester at the application stage). * The program cannot accept graduate students who are enrolled in the first semester of the Master’s program after finishing the Bachelor’s program.
- Have a GPA 3.0 or above/ 4.0
- Language proficiency of either English or Korean is highly recommended, but no certification is required

- NIIED selects the universities for the program
- The selected universities recommend talented exchange students to NIIED

Funding
SNU and the Office of International Affairs offer the following benefits:
- Living Expenses: 500,000 KRW per month
- Medical Insurance: 20,000 KRW per month
- Settlement Allowance: 200,000 KRW/ once upon arrival
- Airfare Upon Arrival Round trip airfare (Maximum payable amount will be announced to the appointed student)
