Paid Exchange Program for Global University Students to Study in Korea 2019

Seoul National University (SNU) offers, in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs (OIA), an exchange opportunity for students from around the world to study for a period of 4 to 10 months. The purpose of this exchange program is to provide meaningful experiences for exchange students regarding Korean culture and education; to strengthen the global competence of Korean universities.

Requirements for application

1. Must be enrolled in at least second semester at home university program (=have completed at least one semester at the application stage). * The program cannot accept graduate students who are enrolled in the first semester of the Master’s program after finishing the Bachelor’s program.
2. Have a GPA 3.0 or above/ 4.0
3. Language proficiency of either English or Korean is highly recommended, but no certification is required

Funding

SNU and the Office of International Affairs offer the following benefits:

1. Living Expenses: 500,000 KRW per month
2. Medical Insurance: 20,000 KRW per month
3. Settlement Allowance: 200,000 KRW/ once upon arrival
4. Airfare Upon Arrival Round trip airfare (Maximum payable amount will be announced to the appointed student)
