Charles Darwin University (CDU) is offering the Global Excellence Award to international students from anywhere in the world on a student visa who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement for 2020. The <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">scholarships&nbsp;</a>are awarded on demonstrated academic merit and are available to students seeking to commence an <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">undergraduate&nbsp;</a>or postgraduate degree at CDU in Semester 1, 2020 in <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Australia" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Australia</a>.<h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><ol><li>Must have an 80-100 percentile score on the application, submit two references and a statement outlining why they should be awarded a scholarship.&nbsp;</li><li>Must meet the University&rsquo;s academic and English entry requirement.</li><li>Should not hold any other scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency.</li><li>Must not hold current Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent Resident or a New Zealand Citizenship.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have submitted a completed scholarship application by 15 November 2019 for commencement in Semester 1, 2020.</li><li>To retain the scholarship in subsequent semesters, the recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester with a minimum GPA of 4.5 with no fail grade in any subject.</li><li>Maintain a full-time enrollment of 40 credit points each semester of study or as per your study plan.</li><li>Pay the remaining balance of your tuition on or before the start of each semester; the tuition fee scholarship will be credited directly to your student account up to two weeks after census date each semester.</li><li>The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year.&nbsp;</li><li>Note: Students are required to inform CDU Global via email international@cdu.edu.au of any visa status changes immediately as this may result in a termination of the scholarship.&nbsp;</li><li>The Global Excellence Award is very competitive and meeting the minimum eligibility standards described above does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship.&nbsp;</li><li>All applicants who meet the minimum eligibility standards will be included in the selection process.
