Opportunity description
To recognize academic excellence, the University of Strathclyde offers international students a merit-based scholarship of £5,000 in the field of Excellence in Creative Writing, for entry onto the full time MLitt (a specialized Masters degree) in Creative Writing. The duration of this scholarship will be for 12 months, and the university will provide only one scholarship.
Eligibility:
To apply for this scholarship, students must:
- Be available to commence their academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September 2019.
- Hold a first degree at first class or upper second class honors, or equivalent.
- Hold an academic offer to study MLitt Creative Writing.
- Provide a 300 word essay demonstrating their ability to contribute to the field of Creative Writing.
Some scholarships have restrictions on other funding you can accept. This means that you have to decide which scholarship to accept. For any University of Strathclyde award you are successful in applying for, you will receive the higher value award only.
