To recognize academic excellence, the University of Strathclyde offers international students a merit-based scholarship of £5,000 in the field of Excellence in Applied Gender Studies, for entry onto the full-time MSc Applied Gender Studies. The duration of this scholarship will be for 12 months, and the university will provide only one scholarship.
About the Course:
The MSc Applied Gender Studies degree at Strathclyde is a Master’s level course for those who wish to study how gender ‘works’ in relation to other structural inequalities such as race, sexuality, class and disability within society.
Eligibility:
To apply for this scholarship, students must:
- Be available to commence their academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September 2019.
- Hold a first degree at first class or upper second class honors, or equivalent.
- Hold an academic offer to study MSc Applied Gender Studies.
- Provide a 300-word essay demonstrating their ability to contribute to the field of Applied Gender Studies.
Some scholarships have restrictions on other funding you can accept. This means that you have to decide which scholarship to accept. For any University of Strathclyde award you are successful in applying for, you will receive the higher value award only.
