To recognize academic excellence, the University of Strathclyde offers <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">international</a> students a merit-based scholarship of &pound;5,000 in the field of Excellence in Applied Gender Studies, for entry onto the full-time MSc Applied Gender Studies. The duration of this scholarship will be for 12 months, and the university will provide only one scholarship.&nbsp;<h3>About the Course:</h3>The MSc Applied Gender Studies degree at Strathclyde is a Master&rsquo;s level course for those who wish to study how gender &lsquo;works&rsquo; in relation to other structural inequalities such as race, sexuality, class and disability within society. Eligibility:&nbsp;&nbsp;To apply for this <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">scholarship</a>, students must:&nbsp;<ul><li>Be available to commence their academic studies in the <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Kingdom" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">UK</a> by the start of the academic year in September 2019.</li><li>Hold a first degree at first class or upper second class honors, or equivalent.</li><li>Hold an academic offer to study MSc Applied Gender Studies.</li><li>Provide a 300-word essay demonstrating their ability to contribute to the field of Applied Gender Studies.</li></ul>Some scholarships have restrictions on other funding you can accept. This means that you have to decide which scholarship to accept.
