The University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom is offering the Dean's Global Research Award (PhD, MPhil) in Humanities & Social Sciences - 2021/22.
Benefits
The Dean’s Global Research Award will help to cover the difference between the tuition fee for a UK postgraduate student and that chargeable to an international, self-funded postgraduate research student. The award will apply for each year of study for up to 3 years.
Value: £6,500 per year (3 years in total; start date, 1st October 2021.)
Number of Scholarships: 12 for the academic year 2021/22.
Eligibility criteria
- Self-funded PhD and MPhil applicants are welcome to apply for this award.
- This award cannot be combined with another Strathclyde University award.
- Applicants should have an excellent academic record – preferably, a First Class undergraduate degree (students with an Upper Second Class degree, or equivalent, may apply), and/or a master’s degree with Distinction / Merit or overseas equivalent.
- Applicants should have strong research potential (evidenced by their research proposal and academic reference letters submitted with the online application)
