PhD Scholarship at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in Germany 2018/19

The Yousef Jameel Scholarship Fund at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is pleased to announce that applying for Doctoral scholarships is now open. These Ph.D. scholarships enable scientific research into issues of societal relevance to create a positive impact on the environment, business, and society.

Eligibility criteria:

To be eligible for the scholarships, you must apply to study doctorate at  Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and your field of study must be in the natural science fields of Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology or Biomedicine, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Agricultural Science. In addition, you must demonstrate a very good written and spoken English as well as good German communications skills. Applications will be considered from students of Arab countries and Turkey who credibly demonstrate their intent to return. Applications from qualified women are particularly encouraged, while disabled persons will receive preference

funding:

Successful applicants will receive scholarships for a period up to three years starting from October 1st. The scholarship also includes a stipend of 1340 Euros per month, plus materials expenses.
