The Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law in Germany is offering a limited number of scholarships for foreign doctoral students to support their research for up to six months in the academic year of 2019. It aims to promote research and academic exchange with scholars from all around the world, as well as assist particularly young scholars in advancing their research activity. Applicants must be doctoral students carrying out research within the institute’s areas of research, which is international dispute resolution and comparative procedural law. Proficiency in English is required, but the applicants’ thesis can be written in a language other than English.
The scholarship’s value is €1,500 paid in monthly installments. Successful applicants will also be offered a workstation in the reading room and an opportunity to participate in the scientific events and activities hosted at the institute.
