The LabexMER partners welcome applications from international researchers with a PhD degree interested in taking part in the Excellence Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program. The call is now open in the new framework of the Interdisciplinary School for the Blue Planet (ISblue). The research program of ISblue is divided in five interdisciplinary themes designed to address the major ocean-related challenges for the blue planet in the 21st century:
[1] Ocean and climate regulation
[2] Ocean-Earth interactions
[3] Sustainable coastal systems
[4] Living ocean and ecosystem services
[5] Long-term observing systems for ocean knowledge
The program’s main objective is to allow young talented scientists to propose their own research project in marine sciences and technology to be carried out in one or several ISblue laboratories, and to promote their career development.
Admitted applicants will spend a period of two years in LabexMER in Western Brittany, France. Fellows will receive a net salary of about 2,400 euros per month. In addition, support is available for travel expenses, equipment and supplies. Work contract will include national health and dental insurance, as well as retirement and unemployment benefits.
