Postcode Lottery Green Challenge for Sustainable Entrepreneurship 2018

The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge, one of the world’s largest competitions in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship, is inviting green start-ups all over the world to participate in the 2018 challenge by submitting their promising sustainable business plans. This challenge is for you if you are an innovative entrepreneur with an idea to tackle climate change and a proven business plan in English to execute this idea, or you have a product or a service that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and is developed enough to be executed and brought to market within 2 years. The organization will announce 25 nominees who will have the chance to be finalists, and in Mid-August, 5 finalists will be selected for the final round. Applicants should be willing to bring their idea to the market themselves and commit to working with any organization necessary to develop the product; as well as attend the final event in Amsterdam if they are selected as finalists to present their idea to the jury. They should preferably have integrated Cradle2Cradle principles in their designs. The selection process will mostly depend on communication potential, courageousness and creativity.

The first place winner will receive €500,000 to further develop the product or service, and to bring it to the market. The second place winner will receive €200,000  and the three other finalists will receive €100,000 each. Reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed.
