Opportunity description
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) invites female scientists in low income African countries to participate in The Quarraisha Abdool Karim Prize in order to honor their achievements in Biological Sciences. The prize was named after professor Quarraisha who will select the winner based on the evaluation of the jury. Applicants must have been living or working in an African country for at least 2 years prior to their nomination. Women from all ages are eligible to apply.
The winner will receive $5,000 provided by the professor herself.
