Opportunity description
The Swiss Re Foundation ReSource Award targets social entrepreneurial initiatives aimed at scaling up new approaches for resolving existing social and/or ecological issues related to sustainable water management practices. Applicants must submit short proposals by March 16, 2018. These proposals will be assessed with regard to the following criteria:
[1] Social and ecological challenge
[2] Impact
[3] Approach
[4] Financials
[5] Competencies
[6] Risk management
Three finalists will receive financial support of $20,000 and a coaching expert to assess them on the application of their projects for six months (October 2018 - March 2019) . One of these three finalists will be chosen as the winning organization and will receive financial aid equivalent to $95,000 for 3.5 years to help implement or scale up the winning social entrepreneurial initiative.
