Are you a woman journalist? Do you want to cover stories about human rights in Central America? The International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF) is pleased to announce its Reporting Fellowships to El Salvador and the U.S./Mexico Border. A group of journalists will report on Rural Security and Development from San Salvador, El Salvador. Concurrently, another group of journalists will cover Trade and its Human Impact from the U.S./Mexico Border with the opportunity for limited travel across the border. Trips will take place on June 14, 2018. Fellows will have the opportunity to network with local journalists, collaborate with international peers, and access a wide range of sources and sites relevant to their reporting. To be eligible, you must be an affiliated or freelance woman journalist with at least three years of professional experience working in news media. You must also have excellent written and verbal English skills.
