Opportunity description
The Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) is now accepting applications from early career researchers of any nationality interested in taking part in the NRF Fellowship Program. The fellowship program offers a five-year research grant of up to SGD$3 million for outstanding early career researchers from all over the world to enable them to conduct research projects in any discipline of science and technology in the host institution of their choice in Singapore. The call includes two tracks:
[1] Applicants in all disciplines of science and technology (Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences and Natural/Physical Sciences).
[2] Applicants with research experience in the field of Science of Learning (SOL). The NRF’s SOL seeks to develop a science-based understanding of the effectiveness of Singapore’s educational methods, as well as develop new methods to realize better learning outcomes.
Applicants must hold a PhD degree with research experience in any discipline of science and technology and may be Assistant Professors or holding an equivalent position at a local research institution for more than 1 year at the point of submission.
