Opportunity description
Partnership for Observation of the Global Oceans (POGO), in collaboration with the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR), is offering fully funded three-month visiting research fellowships for researchers and scientists in fields related to oceanography. Applicants may be scientists, technicians, postgraduate students (preferably of PhD level) and post-doctoral fellows of developing countries.
The POGO-SCOR fellowship program covers the costs of a 1-3 month visit to another oceanographic institute anywhere in the world, a training on any aspect of oceanographic observations, analyses, and interpretation, international airfare, transport from airport to host institution, and contribution towards living expenses.
