Le 18 is happy to announce that their call for participation to the KIBRIT artistic residency program 2017 is now open! The residency program aims to offer the opportunity to artists, curators or cultural researchers coming from, or working in North Africa and Middle East to spend one month in either Marrakesh or Ramallah, researching or producing artworks linked to cultural heritage and collective memory in the two cities. Applicants must specify to which location and research focus they are applying.
The residency in Marrakesh is open to artists coming from Ramallah, Palestine only; the residency in Ramallah has no restrictions regarding nationality or residency.
