Opportunity description
The Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) through its Emerging Curator Program offers the opportunity to propose a project at the CCA related to contemporary debates in architecture, urban issues, landscape design, and cultural and social dynamics. Applicants must submit new projects, never released or published before, in order to get the opportunity to reside in Canada between September 2018 and May 2019.
Applicants can be Architects, journalists, designers, critics, historians, photographers, artists, or other professionals proposing projects that bring an innovative curatorial model to the contemporary discourse scope that can be used to foster ideas and introduce new research themes with the ultimate goal of advancing new thinking for architecture.
Admitted applicants will receive a maximum of $12,000 CAN (equivalent to $9,572) to cover travel, housing, and living expenses for a period of up to three months in Montreal.
