Scholarships for Young African Scholars from Coimbra Group

Universities of Coimbra Group is offering young African researchers from higher education institutions from Sub-Saharan Africa the opportunity to apply for the 1-3 month scholarship program. The main aim is to enable scholars to undertake research in their home institution and to help them establish academic and research contacts. Applicants must be staff members of a university or equivalent higher education institution in Sub-Saharan Africa, and must hold a doctoral or a postdoctoral status. Female scholars are encouraged to apply and will be prioritized.

The scholarships are financially supported by the Coimbra Group member universities participating in the program.
