Opportunity description
Are you a journalist who can write accurate and science-based stories about environmental issues? The University of Rhode Island’s Metcalf Institute for Marine & Environmental Reporting is accepting applications for its Annual Science Workshop for journalists. The Institute supports two fellowships to journalists based outside of the US.
The workshop will help successful applicants receive an overview of climate science and global change, as well as gaining an understanding of how scientists conduct research. It also covers tuition, room and transportation fees. Travel support paid after the program is $1,000.
