Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) in cooperation with Firas Balasmeh Group invites unemployed Engineering graduates who are seeking a new career path and intensive certified requalification trainings to apply for the Continued Professional Development (CPD) program about Solar Systems Operation and Maintenance. Applicants must be holding a Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; in addition to being proficient in English. The 11-week intensive training program (March 25 to the end of May) will be taking place at HTU’s campus. King Hussein Business Park is designed to introduce participants to the study of solar photovoltaic cells, modules, and system components. It also trains them on how to use the equipment, testing, measuring, and better understanding of the product description. What makes the program unique is that it has links to industry and applied and technical market-driven instructions. The program also focuses on building the skills of leadership, decision making, communication, critical thinking, work ethics, public speaking and, conflict management and resolution. English proficiency will be determined through a placement test and the level of the English language program for each participant will be chosen accordingly.
All costs related to the training program will be covered by HTU and each participant will receive a certificate. By the end of the course, participants will be able to speak and write English effectively, as well as gain new skills that will help them get more job opportunities.
