<p>The University of Sussex in <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Kingdom" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>UK</strong></a> is offering the Excellence <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Scholarship</strong></a> 2019 for new <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>undergraduate</strong></a> students who achieved excellent academic performance before joining the University. The Scholarship will be in the form of cash maintenance.</p><h3><strong>Scholarship Value:</strong></h3><ul><li>Students who get this scholarship will receive &pound;2,000 cash maintenance during their first year of study.</li><li>The amount will be awarded as two identical payments of &pound;1,000. The first is paid in November 2019 and the second in March 2020.</li></ul><h3><strong>Eligibility:</strong></h3><ul><li>To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:<ul><li>Be taking up their place as an undergraduate students at Sussex in September 2019.</li><li>Have achieved any of the following grades:<ul><li>A*AA at A level.</li><li>An overall score of 36 in the International Baccalaureate Diploma.</li><li>D*D*D in the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (QCF).</li><li>45 level 3 credits with Distinctions in the Access to HE Diploma.</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>If applicants are studying a combination of A levels and BTECs, they will be eligible if they have:<ul><li>A-Level grade A* and BTEC Diploma grade D*D.</li><li>Two A-Levels grade A*A and BTEC Subsidiary Diploma grade D*.</li><li>Three BTEC Subsidiary Diplomas grade D*D*D.</li></ul></li><li>The following applicants are not eligible:<ul><li>Applicants who are going to study a Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) degree.</li><li>Applicants who are repeating their first year at Sussex or have previously received the Sussex Excellence Scholarship.</li><li>Applicants who don&#39;t accept the University of Sussex as their firm choice.</li><li>Applicants who defer their place to 2020, as they would need to be considered again in 2020.</li></ul></li></ul><h3><strong>About the University:</strong></h3><p>The University of Sussex is a public research university in Falmer, Sussex, England. Its campus is located in the South Downs National Park and is a short distance away from Central Brighton. Sussex Excellence Scholarship for International Students in UK 2019
