The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) invites applications for its PhD program BIGSSS-departs (doctoral education in partnerships). BIGSSS provides close supervision of work in a demand-tailored education and research environment at the University of Bremen and Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany.
that the BIGSSS-departs program lasts for 42 months, including a six month period spent at an external partner institution in which applicants will pursue a topic in one of BIGSSS’ research areas. All accepted researchers will be asked to move to Bremen for
the program as presence at the institution is required.
