The European Mediterranean Institute, in cooperation with the Anna Lindh Foundation, is organizing the 11th edition of the literary competition "Sea of Words" under the theme: Cultural Heritage; within the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. The aim of this competition is to produce short stories within the framework of "Memory and Identity: Cultural Heritage Review", and the aim of giving young people the lead to articulate their cultural heritage experiences. Cultural heritage is an essential part of our identity and represents a common value and a distinguishing feature of the identity of the village, city, landscape and centuries-old symbolic buildings that bring us together within diversity. The maximum length of the story should not exceed 2500 words and can be written in any of the official languages of the participating countries (Arabic, English or French) and be original and unpublished.
