Opportunity description
The Global Pluralism Award invites applications for its 2019 round. The Award is presented once every two years to individuals, organizations, governments, and businesses of any nationality who through their remarkable and sustained achievements have contributed to building more inclusive societies in which human diversity is protected. Nominees must demonstrate remarkable and sustained achievement in any of the wide range of disciplines related to pluralism. These disciplines include: Legal reform, Human rights, Democracy promotion, Social cohesion, etc. Nominees can be individuals, social enterprises, corporations, civil society organizations, and educational or governmental organizations. Awardees will be selected by an independent international jury and the selection will be based on three criteria: Relevance to pluralism, Innovation, and Authenticity.
Three winners will receive a financial award valued at $50,000 to support projects on pluralism.
