Opportunity description
If you are interested in working on a project that will enrich the public understanding of unconventional and innovative challenges you should be part of the Open Society Fellowship. Simply write a proposal about “Human rights are under siege everywhere. Why?” choosing one of these statements:
1. Those who carry out human rights analysis and reporting have been seduced by legal frameworks and largely ignore imbalances of power that lead to rights violations.
2. Political leaders increasingly play on fears that human rights are a Trojan Horse, threatening societies by promising rights to dangerous “others.”
The chosen proposal’s applicants will have the chance to work on projects of their own design and passion. They will be also able collaborate with one another as one group. This opportunity aims to bring about changes and reformations in policies.
