The Rise Global Community Program with Valuable Prizes for Students around the World

Rise Foundation  invites talented people all over the world to join its global community and participate in solving the world’s most important problems. Everyone who joins the Rise global community will have access to a network of peers, learning resources, and additional opportunities from Rise partners around the world. During the program, you will create an individual project and build professional and personal skills. Whether you’re interested in science, art, community organizing, or any other topic, you are welcome to apply.

Program Overview:-

• The Sponsor is constructing a global community of future leaders, connecting everyone who applies with access to free learning resources and opportunities around the world. Rise will select a set of Global Winners and support them for life as they commit their talents to building a better world. 

• Rise believes that traditional selection processes don’t always identify all types of talent. So Rise application process provides for a variety of opportunities to showcase your potential, ranging from videos to projects to interviews.  

Eligibility:-

• The Challenge is open only to Applicants between 15 and 17 years old as of July 1, 2021.

• Applicants must have the permission of their parent/legal guardian to participate in the Challenge if they are below the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside.

• The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Challenge:

  • Current or former (within the twelve months immediately preceding the start of the Entry Period, as defined below) employees, officers, directors and contractors of the Sponsor.

  • Anyone involved in the conduct of the Challenge, including judges. 

  • Any member of the immediate family (i.e.. a spouse, parent, grandparent, child or grandchild) or household of any of the foregoing individuals. 

  • Any individual residing in a jurisdiction where participation in the Challenge is prohibited or restricted by law in any way, or who is prohibited from visiting the United States or is otherwise not permitted to receive any portion of the prize because of the United States Treasury Department, Office of Foreign Asset Control (“OFAC”).

Submission Specifications:-

Submissions that are submitted in connection with the Challenge will only be eligible if they obey the following rules:

• Are in English, including scripts and voiceovers. 

• Are original content by the Applicant. 

• Do not contain content that is unlawful (including any infringement or potential infringement of Intellectual Property Rights of others, including infringement of copyrights, trademarks, patents and proprietary and confidential information of others), or derogatory, disparaging, hateful or obscene content, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

• Don’t include any other identifiable individual other than the individual participant without the prior written consent obtained from such individual or his/her legal guardian if under the age of majority.

Prizes:-

The prize awarded to each of the winners will consist of:

• A technology package, including access to free online courses.‍

• ‍Education Support: Need-based financial support for education 

• ‍Residential Experience: meet other Rise Global Winners and explore leadership, service, and your future career path.

• ‍Mentorship and Career Services: Access individualized resources and guidance as you embark on your career journey.

• ‍Funding Opportunities: Apply for more funding opportunities to scale up your service to others, or compete for investment to start a social enterprise. 

• ‍Early Access: Be some of the first to know about scholarships, internships, and other opportunities through the partner universities and organizations.  

• ‍Global Community: Stay connected to a community of future leaders through annual events and opportunities. 

• All prize details will be determined by Sponsor in its discretion.

Everyone who applies to Rise's program and joins the Rise global community gets  access to a network of peers, learning resources, and additional opportunities from Rise partners around the world. During the application process, participants create an individual project and build professional and personal skills. Winners receive need-based financial support for university and internships, gain access to mentorship and career services, and are able to compete for funding to scale up their social impact.
