Henan University of Chinese Medicine is now accepting applications from international non-chinese students with excellent academic record for Henan Provincial Government Scholarship established by the Government of Henan Province. The scholarship program aims to support provincial universities to recruit outstanding international students and scholars for degree programs and non-degree programs in Henan province.
Eligible applicants must meet the following requirements:
[1] Applicant should be non-Chinese citizen, healthy, and without any criminal records.
[2] Applicant should abide by Chinese laws, regulations, and the university’s regulations.
[3] Applicant should have a good attitude towards learning and have obtained good achievements in their previous studies.
[4] Applicants for bachelor and three-year college programs must hold a high school diploma and be generally under the age of 30.
[5] Applicants for master’s program must hold bachelor's degree, or must hold three-year college degree more than 2 years, and be under the age of 40.
[6] Applicants for doctoral program must hold a master's degree and be under the age of 45.
[7] Applicants for Chinese language program must hold a high school diploma and be under the age of 55.
[8] Applicants for general scholar program, advanced scholar program and research scholar program must be under the age of 45.
However, the age limit can be extended under certain circumstances.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, insurance and accommodation costs. If the scholarship can’t cover all the expenditures, universities can apply other scholarship packages to support the student.
The Scholarship covers the following programs:
[1] Doctoral Program for 4 years: 40,000 CYN (equivalent to $6,362) per year
[2] Master’s Program for 3 years: 30,000 CYN (equivalent to $4,772) per year
[3] Bachelor’s Program for 4-5 years: 15,000 CYN (equivalent to $2,386) per year
[4] Three-year College Program: 10,000 CYN (equivalent to $1,590) per year
[5] One-year Non-degree Program: 10,000 CYN (equivalent to $1,590)
[6] Half-a-year Non-degree Program: 5,000 CYN (equivalent to $795)
