Northeast Forestry University (NEFU) promotes the development of education for foreign students by launching the Northeast Forestry University Chancellor’s Award for outstanding overseas, to further encourage and support more outstanding international students, and constantly improve the school’s international atmosphere and influence. The scholarship’s period is one year and is open to undergraduate students, graduate students and PhD students in all disciplines.
Applicants must:
[1] Be physically and mentally healthy in addition to having a friendly character
[2] Have a foreign nationality and hold a valid passport
[3] Have good grades and performance with no violation of laws and regulations of the Chinese school
[4] Not have received scholarships from the Chinese government or other countries or organizations
Value of scholarship:
The total amount of the scholarship is 300,000 RMB per year divided as follows:
[1] First scholarship: 20,000 Yuan for undergraduate students; 28,000 Yuan for graduate students and 36,000 Yuan for doctoral students
[2] Second scholarship: 15,000 Yuan for undergraduate students; 23,000 Yuan for graduate students and 31,000 Yuan for doctoral students
[3] Third scholarship: 8,000 Yuan for undergraduate students; 11,000 Yuan for graduate students and 16,000 Yuan for doctoral students
