Opportunity description

Western Sydney University is delighted to offer a number of scholarships to international students, who are intending to enroll in any of CRICOS (The Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) registered postgraduate degrees in Australia. 

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be an international student willing to commence their studies in 2019. The international applicant must meet the following academic requirement for the scholarship:

[1] For 50% discount of tuition fees: achieved a minimum GPA of 5.95 on a 7 point scale or equivalent in their most recent undergraduate degree.

[2] For 25% discount of tuition fees: achieved a minimum GPA of 5.80 on a 7 point scale in their most recent undergraduate degree.

Applicants are not eligible if they have been awarded another scholarship by the University or another organization that covers the cost of the tuition fees (fully or partially) to study at Western Sydney University. Applicants will be ranked based on the selection criteria and the panel's review. 

Benefits:

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship that covers 50% of tuition fee per annum for the duration of the degree up to two years. Other applicants will receive scholarships that covers 25% of tuition fee per annum for the duration of the degree up to two years. The scholarship is a tuition fee waiver and does not cover costs associated with living expenses, accommodation, transport, overseas student health cover or other costs associated with study.
