The project</span> expects from its volunteers to work with it for a minimum of three months, and those who can commit for longer periods will be given priority. You will be expected to commit a minimum of 2 to 4 hours a week. Volunteers help it to run programs such as the after-school club or English classes. English teaching volunteers must be native English speakers while after-school club volunteers must speak Arabic at a native or near-native level preferably Jordanian dialect. Volunteers with specific skills in areas such as dance, art, and martial arts are encouraged to apply for after school club positions.</p><h3>Your Responsibilities:</h3><div data-vc-action="collapse"><div data-vc-content=".vc_tta-panel-body"><ul><li>You will be responsible for the following in recruiting volunteers:</li></ul><ol><li>Publicize and raise awareness about CRP volunteer opportunities on Facebook, Reliefweb, Idealist, Linked In, and more.</li><li>Track volunteer needs in English, after school club or summer camp and supergirls and track their timing closely for both Downtown and Hashemi centers.</li><li>Regularly check the volunteer application form for qualified candidates.</li><li>Conduct necessary interviews for English teaching volunteers or forward application on to appropriate program supervisor.</li></ol><ul><li>You will be responsible for the following in supervising volunteers:</li></ul><ol><li>Onboard and offboard all volunteers, ensuring that they complete the necessary forms prior to their start date and following their end date.</li><li>Enter contact information for all new interns and volunteers on the CRP personnel sheet.</li><li>Serve as point of reference when volunteers have questions or concerns during their time at CRP</li></ol><ul><li>You will help the program managers in the following:</li></ul><ol><li>Regularly check in with TEFL coordinator regarding English teacher coverage and semester schedules.</li><li>Help compile orientation materials and run orientations if necessary.</li><li>Make occasional updates to onboarding materials and courses under the supervision of the community center programs manager.</li></ol></div><h3>About Collateral Repair Project (CRP):</h3><p>Collateral Repair Project (CRP) was started in 2006 by two American women who saw a need for a direct connection between citizens of coalition countries and innocent Iraqis who suffered from the consequences of war. They set up a collateral repair project in Amman, <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Jordan" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Jordan</a>, where many refugees were relocating during the height of the second Gulf war in Iraq. Much of CRP&rsquo;s early work was charity-related, but as the organization grew it ran numerous programs focusing on community-building, education, and trauma relief in addition to emergency aid. Activities have greatly expanded over the years. As a result of the war in Syria, CRP started serving Syrian refugees.
