Are you passionate about financial inclusion? Are you a problem-solver who believes in finding innovative solutions? The Moving Money For Better Scholarship is an opportunity for creative leaders who believe in One Young World’s purpose of moving money for better.
One Young World invites applications from those aged between 18-30 and passionate about financial inclusion and creative solutions for a chance to be one of three lucky leaders to join the Western Union delegation at the 2018 One Young World Summit in The Hague, The Netherlands. During the Summit they will connect with fellow change makers from more than 190 countries.
Who can apply
Applicants must be aged between 18-30 and demonstrate a passion for creating social impact through financial inclusion and concern for local and global issues. Applicants should also have fair leadership and creative and innovative problem solving skills.
What accepted applicants will gain
Admitted applicants will have access to the One Young World Summit 2018 in The Hague, Netherlands. The scholarship covers hotel accommodation on a shared basis and catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner between October 16-20, 2018. The cost of economy flights to and from The Hague will also be covered and additional funds to provide for emergency out of pocket expenses whilst in The Hague.

The annual One Young World Summit brings together the most valuable young talent from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organisations. Delegates meet and make lasting connections with peers from almost every industry, sector and country.
During the Summit delegates debate, formulate and share innovative solutions to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. They hear and are heard by world leaders acting as One Young World Counsellors.
